Sociedad Matematica de Ateneo(SocMAt) is an academic organization under the aegis of the Mathematics Department of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School. It shall be composed of mathematically inclined Ateneo High School students.

SocMAt aims to attain the following :
* a wider and deeper perspective of mathematical concepts;
* extend creative mathematics activities or sessions with
probationary students;
* train a pool of contestants for Mathematics competitions
* adapt a community for tutorials.
